Northland School Division invites interested teachers looking for adventure in Alberta’s north with a desire to contribute to the development of indigenous education to apply for contract casual and itinerant teaching positions. Twenty schools in the division offer instruction in grades K-12 to 1930 students in northern Alberta. Visit our website at www.nsd61.ca for information on each school/community.
Fluency in and/or knowledge of the Cree or Chipewyan language, English as a Second Language training and cross-cultural experience would be definite assets. All candidates must be eligible for teacher certification in Alberta.
