Staff Startup Events

We are hosting a number of start-up events for staff. Orientation and training sessions will be held in two locations:
New Principals and New Teachers: DoubleTree by Hilton West Edmonton 16615 109th Avenue NW
Secretaries: Central Office in Peace River 9809 77th Avenue
New Teacher Orientation
Dates: August 24th-25th
Hotel Information: New teachers are asked to check in on Tuesday, August 23rd, and check out Thursday, August 25th. Please contact Executive Assistant Cheryl Osmond at 780-624-2060 ext. 6103 or cheryl.osmond@nsd61.ca to confirm attendance and hotel arrangements at the DoubleTree West Edmonton.

Principal’s Meeting
Dates: August 24th-25th
Location: Edmonton

School Secretary Atrieve and PowerSchool Training
Dates: August 25th
Location: Northland School Division Central Office in Peace River
Hotel Information: Secretaries are asked to check in on Wednesday, August 24th, and check out Friday, August 26th. Bus Driver Startup
Dates: August 29th in High Prairie and August 30th in Wabasca-Desmarais
Location: Days Inn (High Prairie) & Mistassiniy School (Wabasca-Desmarais)

Days Inn (High Prairie): Bus drivers in High Prairie, Susa Creek and Paddle Prairie
Mistassiniy School (Wabasca-Desmarais): Bus drivers in Wabasca area, Sandy Lake, Chipewyan Lake and Calling Lake.
