“The Board congratulates Tresha on becoming the new Principal at Susa Creek School,” said Cathy Wanyandie, Board Chair. “We are pleased to see we have been able to recruit an outstanding leader for the Susa Creek School community. Being able to achieve excellence in leadership is essential to achieving our number one priority which is excellence in learning.”

“Tresha has the leadership qualities we are looking for to support the instructional focus areas in the Northland School Division,” said Cal Johnson, Superintendent of Schools/CEO. “She brings a variety of learning experiences that align with our school division priorities. We are excited to have Tresha as part of the Northland team.”

“I am excited to take on this important leadership position at Susa Creek School,” said Moorhouse. “I feel honoured to serve the Susa Creek community and put in the work necessary to support student success. Developing relationships with families, and the community members, working with staff and exploring the beautiful community are just a few things that I enthusiastically await to experience.”

In addition to her leadership and teaching experience in La Loche, Tresha worked for the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador as a Department of Advanced Education Program Coordinator. She also taught in various roles in Jamaica.
