Classes have resumed for Chipewyan Lake students in Wabasca-Desmarais

We know this is a challenging time, and we’re here to support Chipewyan Lake students while families are staying in Wabasca-Desmarais.

As of Tuesday, June 3, students resumed classes at Career Pathways School. Two classrooms have been set up to support learning during this temporary relocation.

Students have access to Chromebooks, certified teachers, and educational assistants to support their learning. A small school bus is stopping at each hotel to pick up students, and staff have been in contact with families to confirm times and locations.

Wellness supports are also available for any student who may need someone to talk to.
