Active Wildfires Impacting Northland School Communities
Buffalo Bay Fire (SCU001): Northland School Division is aware of a wildfire near Grouard. 12 firefighters and a helicopter are on the scene. Wildfire incident update - LWF009 (Located near Janvier): The wildfire near Janvier (LWF009) is now classified as being held. There is no immediate risk to people or the community, though smoke may still be visible in the area. Crews are working to contain the wildfire and manage it as part of a planned hazard reduction burn.
