Exciting News: New Grades Coming to Three Northland Schools

We are excited to share that starting in the 2025 2026 school year, Northland School Division will be offering additional grade levels at three schools. The Board of Trustees approved these changes following feedback from families during recent community engagements.
Families shared a strong desire to have their children educated within their home communities for as long as possible. They also told us that having local schooling helps students succeed, stay connected to their culture, and feel strong in their communities.
The following schools will be expanding their high school programming in coordination with Northland Online School:
- Elizabeth School – Grade 9
- Gift Lake School – Grade 10
- Grouard Northland School – Grade 11
We are proud to grow with the communities we serve and offer more opportunities for students to learn close to home
