NSD experimenting with a Regional Online Science Fair Concept

We are trying something new today! NSD is experimenting with a Regional Online Science Fair concept. The purpose of an online science fair is leveraging technology to overcome barriers to participation.
At NSD, we cover 288,347 square kilometres. That's approximately the same size as Italy! The size of our jurisdiction presents some challenges with hosting a feasible science fair for all schools to attend.
How does it work?
Participants create a presentation using Google Slides. They then use a screen recording app like Screencasify to narrate over their presentation.
The video will then be uploaded to a Google Team Drive for judging.
The submissions we receive will be posted on YouTube for everyone to see!
