Holly Friesen appointed Human Resources Administrator

Northland School Division (NSD) is pleased to announce the appointment of Holly Friesen as Human Resources Administrator. Holly has been a member of the Northland family for 14 years. Friesen started out as a summer student before being appointed Instructional Secretary in 2008.
As an Instructional Secretary, Holly provided support to the assistant superintendent and central office instructional supervisors, organized and captured minutes for various committee meetings and coordinated various workshops and conferences. In 2011, Friesen joined the Human Resources (HR) Department to become the Secretary. For eight years, Holly was the first point of contact for HR-related questions and performed numerous duties such as preparing contracts/letters, organizing job interviews and helping to organize divisional events.
In April 2018, Holly obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) and is working towards completing a Master of Business Administration from Thompson River University.
