NSD mourning loss of staff member

It is with sadness that we confirm the loss of a beloved Northland School Division (NSD) staff member. Roland Boucher, who served as a caretaker at Athabasca Delta Community School in Fort Chipewyan, passed away on Wednesday, August 12th.
Roland, a passionate Calgary Flames fan, played an important role in creating a welcoming, caring and safe learning environment at Athabasca Delta Community School.
Roland loved the great outdoors. He enjoyed hiking, fishing, camping, playing crib and watching hockey. Roland shared these life experiences with Patricia, his wife of 19 years, three children and two grandchildren.
The entire Northland family will miss Roland very much and will spend many difficult moments grieving his loss. Our thoughts are with Roland's family, as well as all the families affected.
