NSD mourning the loss of a former staff member

It is with sadness that we confirm the loss of a former Northland School Division (NSD) staff member. Linda Foster, who retired in 2017, passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2019. Foster was a principal and teacher with NSD for 35 years.
For those who knew Linda, she portrayed a tough shell and a grumpy-like sense of humour. However, in reality, she was a dedicated educator who was kind and cared very deeply about the success and wellbeing of each student.
The entire Northland family will miss Linda very much and will spend many difficult moments grieving her loss. Our thoughts are with Linda’s family, as well as all the families affected.
