Alberta Education is inviting families across the province to provide feedback on new standards being considered for school library collections. These proposed standards aim to create consistency across Alberta school divisions regarding how materials that include sexual content are selected and managed in school libraries.

We encourage you to take a few minutes to complete the public online survey, which is open until June 6, 2025. Your input will help shape provincial standards and guide how school divisions across the province approach this important topic.
