Northland School Division is accepting applications for the position of Full-Time Caretaker at Calling Lake School. This position will be for the Summer of 2025. The kindergarten to grade 12 school is located in Calling Lake, Alberta. This beautiful, charming community is situated on the eastern shore of Calling Lake, known for its tranquility and recreational pleasures. Calling Lake is approximately 60 kilometres away from Athabasca, Alberta and approximately 200 kilometres from Edmonton, Alberta.
Major responsibilities include:
- Working seven hours per day Monday to Friday. The position is paid monthly with a salary range of $37674.86 and $45082.38 per annum based on experience.
- General cleaning and grounds maintenance duties at the school. This includes shoveling sidewalks and entrances.
- A strong work ethic, initiative, and teamwork skills are attributes that will contribute to success in this position.
Assets include:
- Certification in WHMIS, First Aid and floor care/sanitation. Northland School Division will provide training if the successful candidate needs to complete certification in WHMIS, First Aid and/or floor care/sanitation.
