Northland School Division is accepting applications for the position of Part-Time Caretaker at Northland Central Office. Northland School Division is situated in postcard Canada! Our school facilities are found next to mountains, lakes, rivers, forests and wetlands. This setting provides daily opportunities to integrate learning with nature for optimal educational experiences.
Our central office is located in Peace River, Alberta. At Northland, approximately 95% of our student population is of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit descent. We serve about 1,700 students across 18 schools located in municipalities, Métis Settlements, and near First Nation reserves.

Major responsibilities include:
- Working three and a half hours per day Monday to Friday. The position is paid monthly with a salary range of $18,837.43 and $22,541.19 per annum based on experience.
- General cleaning and grounds maintenance duties at Central Office. This includes shoveling sidewalks and entrances.
- A strong work ethic, initiative, and teamwork skills are attributes that will contribute to success in this position.
Assets include:
- Certification in WHMIS, First Aid and floor care/sanitation. Northland School Division will provide training if the successful candidate needs to complete certification in WHMIS, First Aid and/or floor care/sanitation.
