NSD mourning loss of staff member

It is with great sadness that we recognize the passing of Christine Janvier. Christine was a valued member of the staff at Father R. Perin School in Janvier and a great positive force in the community with her role as a youth worker. Christine was a person who always had a smile for everyone and she had an endless supply of energy for the students in the school and community.
When the school needed an Educational Assistant who was willing to receive Autism training, Christine stepped up with enthusiasm. When the school needed an Educational Assistant to help with speech therapy, Christine stepped up and volunteered for training. Christine did everything with a smile and with great enthusiasm. Students and staff will miss Christine as she was such an inspiration to them and always an effective listener and support person. Heartfelt condolences go out to Christine’s immediate and large extended family.
