Educational Assistants

Major responsibilities include:

• Work with children with varied skill levels, needs, and abilities.
• Working with students in the classroom, supporting student academics, individual learning needs, and tutorial help. 
• Other educational duties as assigned. 

Qualifications include: 

• Experience working with children and/or youth, preferably in an organizational setting.
• A calm and patient demeanor is very beneficial.
• Educational Assistant Certificate or equivalent experience would be an asset.
• Effective communication and the ability to follow directions and plans.

Caretakers

Major responsibilities include:

• General cleaning of classrooms and common areas of the school.
• Ground maintenance, such as snow shoveling, when necessary.

Assets include:

• Certification in WHMIS, First Aid and floor care/sanitation. 

School Cooks

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation and service of morning snack and hot  lunches, according to the menu
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment in the commercial kitchen

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience
• A recognized Food Safety Course is considered an asset
